John Lennon Educational Bus Visits NOCP

The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, a nonprofit recording studio on wheels, paid a visit to NOCP High School last week. Eight students got a chance to create and record their own song, and Fox 8 stopped by to check out their creativity.
Harness Your Potential Trip Featured in the Times-Picayune

Sunday afternoon, Kedrick Smothers, Chaddsity Smith and a dozen other students from New Orleans College Prep will be strolling down the streets of Cambridge, Mass., walking the Revolutionary War Freedom Trail and eating Italian cannolis at Mike’s Pastry in Boston. They’ll also be learning what it’s like to study at Harvard University by speaking with faculty members and current students.
New Orleans College Prep Teacher published in Yale Center for Dyslexia and Creativity

Mr. Joshua Jenkins, a special education teacher at New Orleans College Prep elementary school, is also a contributing technology writer for the Yale Center for Dyslexia and Creativity. He recently published on the use of iPad educational apps as a tool for reaching students.
