The Transportation Collective was recently created as a collaboration of 5 CMOs including 6 schools throughout Orleans Parish. The collective was designed to improve economies of scale and negotiating power of these smaller CMOs to ensure the schools had access to high quality school transportation for a reasonable price. An RFP for the collective was put out in April 2019 and B&L Transportation was selected as the winning provider.

The collective intends to hire a Transportation Manager to help manage the program between networks and work directly with B&L Transportation on behalf of all the CMOs. The position will be an employee of New Orleans College Prep Charter Schools, but will be responsible to all of the CMOs in the collective.
